Late night tweaking on the internet to start my 3-day weekend. Got the Fugees on blast in the headphones, just thinking about skateboarding, photography, & everything that has to do with a chill lifestyle & tomorrow. You know, I check out TheBerrics probably once every 2 weeks. I like to let all the videos build & just watch everything that catches my eye. Well, I haven't seen Arto's name in awhile, & he has probably impacted my life throughout the years of him being one of my favorite skateboarders. I first found out he did photography about 2 years ago. I was stoked because I never knew he shot photos. I saw some photos he took & I was just blown away. So inspirational to me. Anyways, I came across "Shoot All Skaters" episode featuring Arto Saari. Honesly...I'm speechless. From his words, his photos, his lifestyle, his reasonings, down to the filming of the video. Everything. To be completely honest, I was speechless, almost to a chicken-skin point, I would say. This short film just altered something in me. Man...I can't even explain how this film impacted me in this very moment.

That was such a cool photo with the lady and the bird and sunset. I bet it must be amazing to experience someplace with a 3 hour sunrise or sunset. Idk if you've seen it before, but on youtube, they have these videos that CCS puts up called "Material Life" where they have a pro talk about 5 material possessions they really like. Arto's was pretty cool. You gotta check out Appleyard's one, haha. You're gonna crack up man. P-rod's one was pretty cool too.
Haha, right, dude?! That photo was super tight! Dude, Arto is so cool, haha. & I just peeped all those "Material World" videos! I saw Arto's video before, but thought nothing of it. Appleyard's one is so sick though!!!
