Kind of lost touch with this for awhile. Got busy with ending school & too busy enjoying the night life. So, another semester of school has ended & I didn't sign up for next semester. I don't feel like going back. Not right now atleast. Just want to enjoy things for a little bit. Summer is going pretty good, too. Still haven't got that day yet where all the bros just jump in a couple cars & we shred the island, take some photos. I always miss out on those. Those are the days I live for! It's sick. Gone to the beach once already. Got to make that a every-other-day type thing with this weather.
Another group of kids are graduating soon, that makes class of '07 2 years out of high school. The funny thing is, I still dwell on the memories of high school from time to time. High school is probably the best thing that could happen to anyone. Leslie finishes high school in a couple days. Pretty sick. Few of my friends are graduating from Pearl City. That's sick, too. I was reading one of their 'extended networks' on MySpace, & it said that he's tripping out because high school is going to end in 1 day. And I remember that feeling! It was the greatest, until you actually walked off that campus, and then it literally hits you. That feeling of it ending, knowing you're not gonna see half the people you knew, yet that feeling of accomplishment overwhelms you.
After that, like every adult says, "Welcome to the real world." Honestly, the "real world" isn't that bad. It's how you live it, you know? Some are more dedicated than others, some know where they're headed, some literally just fuck up & can't get back on track, & some just live. Take things step by step. I know I have to figure out what I want to do...eventually. But not right now. I like just working, and going to a few classes to keep my brain functioning, & just living. Enjoying things as they come. You know how there's a bunch of words of wisdom or quotes that people live by? There is only one that I can honestly say I live by. "Live in the Moment." It's true, it really is what it is, I can feel it. I feel that living in the moment keeps you relax & not everybody can do it.
Last night, I was going through the folder with all the photos from my very first digi camera. I must say, it took me about 20 minutes to go through it. Stopping, staring, laughing or smiling, just reminiscing. Here's a photo back from the Intermediate days at Highlands. (left to right: Rylan Leong, CJ Herron, Bronson Sterling, Aaron Mesa)
This photo is a trip! & all I could do was laugh at it.
