"So how was that upclose in personal Dub experience?" - Sterling

Last night, May 23rd, I finally got to see Dubkonsious play again. The last time I saw them live was when they opened for Groundation at Pipeline back in February. Every single show after that, I missed. I was more stoked than ever to see them play last night. Knowing that most of the homies were coming, too, it was going to be sick.

Upclose with Dub the whole night, just skankin' to the riddim with chicken-skin, I got a full taste of what they're trully made of, y'know. They're so talented and original. They make you feel like no other live band can make you feel. They give off vibes like no other live band can. They're so original and know how to keep the crowd skankin' all night and wanting more. You can see how they are the best of friends up on stage, united as one. I noticed Mike Love, glancing back at his band members while playing, and he'll just smile and continue on jammin' the keyboard and bringing the vibes in his voice. You know for a fact that they're having a good time up there, too. Together as a group, though, they put you in a trance. As if there was no crowd, all you can hear is their music. It's really something. The way they play, their transitions into a new song, the way they make everything calm and all of a sudden, everything just drops one time and everyone skanks harder...amazing.

I'm at a loss for words. See them live for yourself for a better look at this, you won't be disappointed. Nothing like Dub.
