At about 12:30am, we were on a mission. A mission to take on the supernatural, but for some reason, most of the fun came out of something else. I wouldn't trade in this moment I'm about to talk about, for nothing in this world.
Mason, Keith, Max, & I start heading to Kapolei to pick up Chayne from his hale. As we wait for Tony & the gang, we chill outside a gas station for about an hour or so where I tasted the most delicious Dorito ever made. To start killing time, we were talking about the best books that we ever read, candy, music, skateboarding, movies, just anything. We finally get a call from Tony at about 1:40am & it was time to head to the barracks. Little did we know, we all were talking about two different barracks. So, our group goes to the barracks that we were talking about. We park in the nearby neighborhood & we lay low for awhile. To set the mood, we were listing to Paula Fuga. An important key for ghost hunting is to go to the location with an open mind & a positive attitude. So, we get out of the car, & walk across the street to get eaten by the darkness. We all dressed dark so we were pretty stealth. So, as we're walking along this fence, we see headlights. We're all like, "CAR! CAR!" We dive into the ground & weeds! We just laid low until cars passed. We're all there in Barbers Point, 2 o'clock in the morning, with flashlights & a camera, & we're diving into weeds like Navy Seals! (This gets better). So we get to this open grass area where we all take a piss just to relieve ourselves before we enter. As we kneel down to blend in, Max is on the phone with Tony to find out that they're at a different barracks more down towards Ewa. We were like, since we're here, we might as well check it out. As we walk towards the building, we see headlights again! But this one was more intense. We were walking in the open so we dash to a wall & hid behind the corner. As I'm in place, here comes Chayne DIVING into the ground Major League baseball player style! Hahaha, I'll never forget that. Never.
Nothing really happends after that. We decide to meet up with Tony & the gang. Right when we reach Mason's car, security comes out of nowhere & just takes note of Mason's car & shit. No biggy. This is where the night gets the most high. We spot Tony's truck across the barracks they were at & we park. Right when we open the car doors, 2 HPD cars come flying by! Lights on & everything. We quickly shut the doors & lay low. & by this time, we're all trippin' balls & shit. "What the fuck is going on dude!!!!" There were so much odd occurences that happend on the way there, too. Not to mention the black cat at the gas station & on the way to the second barracks, an owl flew across our path as we were driving. Anyway, we finally get out of the car & we run across the street. As we did, another HPD car comes speeding up so we sit at the bus stop to act normal. The cop slows down a little & starts hauling ass, leaving us behind. Still trippin' balls, we get up to find ourselves in this field of waist-high weeds. "COPS COPS!" AGAIN, patrol cars come blazing by so we dive in this waist-high weeds! I'm just like "What the fuck duuuuuuuuude!!!! What the fuck is going on!!!" We're laying down in the tallest weeds I've ever been in, hiding from cops! Every chance we got, we got up & started running like we were on hot coals. We had to dive about 2 times in these weeds. Babylon was on a mission, man. When we finally get out of sight from anybody, we find Chrispy standing in front of the entrance, waiting for us.
You probably won't feel the intensity or fun that came out of this, but I tried the best I could to put it into words. This couldn't had happend at a better time, nor with better people. This moment was definately one of Life's natural highs.
In a nutshell; inside the barracks, there was definately something. It took about 40 minutes or so for chills to build up. I felt it, Chayne felt it, Alex felt it, & so did a few more people. One room just had some bad vibes. Tony claims whatever that was in there, it was scared of us. It kept running away. But in a way, I took that as a good thing. Only because that meant the spirit wasn't hostile, y'know? It sent out good vibes. The air in there got really thick, though. The dust just flying in the air & shit. It made my throat scratchy & I had to get out of there. I took 65 photos in there & not one caught anything.
Here's just a few funny ones & a couple creep rooms.
