Onward...

As of right now, the girlfriend just graduated last night. It was a sight to see. Walking into the stadium gave me chicken-skin, only because it brought me back 2 years ago when I got to experience a once-in-lifetime thing: graduation. I'm very proud of her & by the look on her face & her smile, she was having the time of her life. Following the graduation, there was a huge dinner back at her house while she was away getting ready for Project Grad. I had brought a few close friends to come eat & just talk story. There was the load of food there. Leslie's parents ordered food from Taniokas! Guarantee! Haha, & Leslie's grandpa had made some filipino desert, which was delicious.

A few days ago, a bunch of my friends & I hiked Koko Head. I'll make this short & sweet. It was intense! The heat was just beating down on us. At a few points, I honestly felt I couldn't make it or I felt like I was going to pass out for a moment. Sterling & I ended up being the last ones to make it to the top. But it was so great/funny because we reached the top together, & everyone was like "Yeahhhhh!" as they cheered for us. It was rewarding, relaxing, positive, & so free up there. It was cool to have the very top to ourselves for about a half hour, & not one single stranger who was hiking came up to where we were. It's as if WE were meant to be there at that very moment. Another thing that happend that made me feel that we were meant to be there in that very moment was when we saw a seagull (pretty sure it was a seagull because everyone else said it was). It hovered directly above our heads. It was like it was trying to soar forth, but the wind was too strong so it stayed in place. You had to be there. I can't put that moment into words.
